<div>On April 25th, my children's dog Athena got out of the house. The dog is vision impaired and nipped at another child and it did not appear to draw blood.

<div>All three children present tried to corral the pup but within seconds a man pulled out a 9mm handgun and fired in a residential neighborhood at their dog. The puppy was corralled into the vehicle and the man opened the door of the vehicle in front of all the children and fired another round into the vehicle. The children rode with their puppy and thank God after thousands of dollars in vet bills and surgery the pup has survived.

<div>In addition, this all happened in close vicinity to my children. As you can imagine, this is traumatizing to them and even the sound of a motorcycle driving by triggered screaming. We are likely going to need counseling for all involved. Any donations will be used to recoup past veterinarian bills and any potential future counseling etc.
