On Sunday, December 22nd, my father, Brent Ivey, was rushed to the hospital after having chest pains, a burning feeling in his chest, and numb hands. His wife, my stepmom Doris, was able to call 911 and get EMS to their home fast. After the EMS arrived, they told him that it appeared he was having a heart attack. Once at the hospital, they found a blockage and were able to put in a stent to replace his stent from 2020. I thank the Good Lord, hospital staff, and emergency staff for getting him there and saving his life!

My dad works a full-time job but will need to take it easy for a while. He hasn't had this job long, so we're not sure how they are going to take the news of him being out. While talking with my dad and stepmom, my dad looks at his wife and says, "When can I go back to work?" The stress on his face said it all. He shouldn't be worried about work or bills and just be able to recover. I'm asking if you can please donate, every little bit helps! If you can't donate, we ask that you please say a prayer!
