Emergency relief fund for a 7 lb., one eyed chihuahua/pomeranian mix who experienced major trauma requiring surgery with expenses now exceeding $8500. "Bob" the stray dog was rescued by a local group of kind hearted women and taken to the Hobart Animal Clinic and the Veterinary Orthopedic Center in Highland Indiana. It is believed he was probably tossed from a moving car and sustained a fractured pelvis. He recuperated from first surgery and today (1/13) had his injured eye removed and dental work done at Hero Pet Animal Hospital in Westville. He will require one more surgery. Eventually Bob will be looking for his forever loving home.
Bob thanks you for your kindness and generosity.
COMMENTS BY ONE OF RECUERS: Bob was found cowering under a shack along Rte 12 next to the train tracks by Ogden Dunes. He managed to survive all night in the cold, after either being thrown from a car or hit by a car. We will never know his story but a group of heroes were determined to give him a second chance at life after all he's been thru. He's had surgery for his broken pelvis and still needs to have his ruptured eye removed. Please share and consider donating towards his medical care - every bit helps .
