Aid for Anneke

     After months of suffering from excruciating migraines, our mum, Anneke Pegrum was admitted to hospital on Sunday, 13th August 2017 and was unfortunately diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumour.  She soon underwent brain surgery and the results showed she had an advanced/stage 4 glioblastoma multiform tumour on the left temporal lobe of her brain. This has affected her memory, speech and physical capabilities, and will ultimately limit the time she has left with us.

     We are doing everything within our power to extend mum’s time, and in the hope of giving her the best quality of life possible we now reach out to you. Mum will soon begin radiotherapy and chemotherapy which will leave her weak and in urgent need of in-home care and resources – in particular an electric adjustable bed, wheelchair and Zimmer frame.

     Anneke Pegrum is an incredible mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend who has been a carer for others her whole life. She is a beautiful soul who has always done whatever she can to help those in need. Please help us return the love and support during her time of need.
