Let me tell you the story of a beautiful 19 year old girl who has the world in front of her and and nothing to lose but to own it.
Now Let me tell you the story of a 19 year old girl that has all the potential in the world to be great.
Let me tell you a story of a 19 year old girl who's family and friends are there to support and encourage her to do great things in life, grab a hold of her dreams, and have everything she ever wanted in life.......
Now let me tell you the story about a 19 year old girl that has everything to look forward to, and is having it slowly taken away from her by a cancerous tumor in her head.  A tumor that right now is stage 4 cancer and has moved into her Jaw and Skull bones.  A girl that without proper attention, and medical care could lose all of those dreams.  A girl that can see the potential that she has but without proper care it can be taken away in an instant.
I have watched Ali grow from a baby into the beautiful young woman she is today.  I consider this young woman my Niece.  I have put bandaids on scratched knees, had awesome weekends with her and my boys at the trailer, and heard her stories of the boys she was crushing on..... I have even changed a diaper or 3.  But it is hard to listen to this story, and even harder to see it.
Ali has lost her vision so far in one eye.  Lost her appitite  and weight to a point where she shouldn't be.  Some of the pain she is going through at times I wouldn't wish on an enemy.  She is waiting to start treatment (Radiation and Chemo) and is waiting to hear if she will be able to go home.  But this 19 year old girl stays strong.  Keeps smiling and joking.  Keeps her hopes up.  And continues to love life - because that is Alli.......
Her mom is staying with her at the hospital as much as possible, and her dad is staying with his princess untill all hours - because thats what you do.......
As you can imagine, it is hard to stay at work when your baby is in this situation.
But with that comes a financial responsibility.  Hospital Parking, Groceries, Rent, Medication, Treatments, Gas.....  This all adds up.  Factor this with not being able to go to work becuse your baby - your child - your princess needs you there with them........  It is hard.......
I am reaching out into the community.  I am reaching out because I want to see this young girl have the opportunity to be great.  Have everything she ever dreamed of.  I want to see all of her wishes come true.......  And I want her to have whatever she needs to get through this tough time.

We love you Ali.  You will have anything and everything you ever wanted!!
