He leaves behind his beloved wife Adriana and their two precious sons—Agustín (29 months) and Carlitos Jr. (10 months)—who were the absolute light of his life. He poured his heart into his family, working tirelessly every day to build a better future for them.

He had an unshakable vision for his restaurant, Cielito Lindo, in Lindsay, CA—a place he hoped would not only provide for his family but also serve and uplift his community. <div>My name is Veronica Perez, and my father, Carlos Perez, and I organized this fundraiser on behalf of my aunt Adriana Santillan, my mom's sister. With the support and blessing of our family, we created this GoFundMe to help my aunt and her children during this heartbreaking time.
