On November 29, 2017 Erick Carbajal, Ezekiel Tejeda, Kevin Tejeda, and Miguel Rueda Torres were driving home from work and were hit by a drunk driver at the on I-64 when the van exited I-85 and ran a the stop sign at 70 mph. Erick had to be airlifted to the hospital in critical condition with punctured lungs and lacerated liver along with numerous broken bones. It was Kevin's first day of work at a new job he had just moved to North Carolina for. Kevin suffered serious facial trauma and damage to his kidney. Ezekial and Miguel were also badly hurt but thankfully stable. These men and their families are in shock and and in need of help.
Erick and Kevin have a long road ahead of them towards recovery and any support you can provide is greatly appreciated.
The man who hit them has been charge with DWI, reckless driving and driving without a license. At this time we are unsure if he has any insurance which will help cover the costs incurred from this accident. These men need help with the medical and legal costs and aid for their families while they are unable to work.
Please help these men and their families as soon as you can, anything and everything helps.
