My name is Marie Fanfan Lexine, and today I am asking for help in one of the most difficult moments of my life.

A few month ago, I received news no mother ever expects: I was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma, an aggressive form of cancer that has already begun to spread. Overnight, my world changed. I went from being a hardworking, independent single mother of two beautiful boys… to a patient fighting for her life.

Because of the rapid progression of this illness, I am now unable to work. I face a long, painful, and expensive road ahead — major surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, countless hospital visits, and all the heavy emotional weight that comes with such a diagnosis. The fear, uncertainty, and stress have been overwhelming. But through it all, I continue to hold onto faith. I trust God with every breath, even on the days when I can barely stand.

I have always been someone who shows up for others — whether offering a meal, a prayer, a shoulder, or simply love. Helping people has always been who I am. But now, for the first time, I am the one in need.

This GoFundMe is to help keep my home stable for my children, cover basic living expenses, and support the heavy medical costs during this fight for my life. Every dollar makes a real difference for us — no matter how small. And every prayer, every share, every kind word is a blessing.

I am fighting with everything I have, not just for myself, but for the two boys who need their mother. I believe in miracles. I believe in community. And I believe that with your help, I will overcome this.

Thank you for your love, your compassion, and your support.
May God bless you for blessing us. ❤️
