<div>Hi everyone, thank you for clicking on this go fund me. My name is Amy and I’m starting this fundraiser for my sister Erica and her husband Brandon.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Erica woke up on Sunday November 24, 2024 being 37 weeks pregnant to a big scare. She saw she was losing a lot of blood and needed immediate medical care. She was rushed to Mainland hospital in an ambulance. It turned out she was suffering from placenta abruption. She had to have an immediate emergency c-section to save the baby. She gave birth to a baby boy named Travis Irvin. Travis was born with a congenital heart condition called HLHS.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Immediately after he was born he was transported to CHOP in Philadelphia. While Erica was still at Mainland recovering from her C-section and receiving multiple blood transfusions, Travis was fighting for his life due to the traumatic birth and his heart defect.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>During this time Brandon was commuting between both hospitals, afraid for both Erica and Travis. He also had to keep in mind their other son Shane who witnessesed it all.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Since then Erica has been released from the hospital and is doing well physically.
</div>
<div>Both Erica and Brandon spend their mornings caring for Shane and getting him to school, then they make the drive to CHOP and spend the day with Travis and going over his care with all the wonderful doctors and staff. Then later in the evening they drive home and spend some time with Shane before putting him to bed. They do this almost every day.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are praying for baby Travis who is scheduled to get his first of three heart surgeries tomorrow morning. After the surgery he will spend weeks at CHOP recovering.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The costs have really added up between paying tolls, gas, paying for parking, and eating cafeteria food. Erica left her job at a preschool before Travis was born and Brandon can no longer work the overtime he relied on so much.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am asking you all to help them in any way you can. Even a small donation would be so appreciated.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Erica and Brandon deserve all the love, prayers and support we can give them. They have really had a rough couple years between losing their beautiful daughter Aubree in 2022 and recently having to put their dog, Chance down unexpectedly last week. I am just trying to lessen their load as much as possible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please consider donating to them.
</div>

</div>
<div>UPDATE 12/12/24 7:45pm-
</div>
<div>Baby Travis had his first of three surgeries for HLHS today. The surgery was 6 hours long. He is now recovering with doctors and nurses keeping a close eye on him. Mom and Dad finally got to see him after being at the hospital for 12 grueling hours.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Brandon and Erica wanted to say thank you to everyone who has donated and they appreciate the love and support shown.
