<div>Hello. My name is Marie McWhorter. For those of you who know me, you’ll know I’ve had a string of bad luck lately (lost my job, broke my foot) - the “dark cloud gene” my aunts have dubbed it. Apparently I got it from one of them (thanks Aunt Ommie). But my troubles pale in comparison to what my dear friend, Daniele Fiechter has faced in the last week.

<div><br />

</div>

<div>On May 16, 2025, Daniele endured a life-shattering tragedy. A powerful tornado ripped through her community in London, KY, and her home exploded, leaving behind only debris and heartbreak.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Incredibly, two days later, her sweet dog Ava was found alive under the rubble. Her survival is a small miracle amidst overwhelming loss.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Daniele is now staying with a close friend, Leanne Rice Wolff, as she begins the hard journey of recovery. She has lost not only her home and possessions—but also the feeling of safety and stability.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We are asking for help to support Daniele during this incredibly difficult time. Your donations will help cover:

</div>

<div>	•	Immediate essentials (clothes, food, toiletries)

</div>

<div>	•	Temporary housing

</div>

<div>	• Care for both Ava and her sheep

</div>

<div>	•	Long-term rebuilding and emotional recovery

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Many of you have asked what you can do to help ME during this difficult time. I’m healing. I’m going to be okay. Let’s rally together and help Daniele. She’s one of the kindest, gentlest souls you’d ever meet.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> I have friends and family from here to California. I have many “families” - from my own family, to my special Fineapple and Riverside families, to my Billy Strings, Kitchen Dweller, Gravel Road, Moonshiner’s Ball, Laurel Cove, and Burning Man families. Almost every single person on my page I’ve met in person and love. I’ve helped many of you as well.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Now let’s give back. Let’s help Daniele.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Please consider donating. Every dollar helps. And if you can’t give, sharing this campaign can make a world of difference.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>With deepest gratitude,

</div>

<div>Marie McWhorter
