A new leg for Christmas!

Donation protected
In August 2024, my wife and mother of our kids, went through hip disarticulation surgery (removal of her entire left leg) due to osteosarcoma (bone cancer), and having multiple rounds of chemotherapy but it failing. She is now permanently disabled in a wheelchair.
We are trying to keep our faith strong, stay positive, and are hoping that this will be the beginning of her being able to heal, recover, and move forward as a new amputee (and hopefully beating cancer)!
We've been working with doctors and our insurance to try to get Crystal a prosthetic leg, so she may walk again and not spend the rest of her life in a wheelchair. Here's where we're asking for help; Our insurance won't cover a prosthetic because they say that since she's already been issued a wheelchair, they won't cover another "mobility aid", and we just can't afford the out of pocket cost.
We're so greatfull for Crystal still being here, but she's already lost so much and we don't want her to lose her ability to walk permanently if we can do something about it! So we're asking our community to help us in any way, and with lots of prayers, so Crystal may hopefully "walk" again soon!!

Thank you for taking the time to read her story and considering to help in any way!
