This is my momma, Cheryl. On February 14th, she was admitted to the hospital with a high fever and low oxygen levels. After being transferred to Scott & White from another hospital, we learned that she is battling both Encephalitis and Meningitis. She will remain in the hospital for several weeks as she continues to fight this illness. Some days, she makes progress, but other days it feels like one step forward, two steps back. My sister, Nichole, is managing the household and handling my mom's bills in the meantime. We are unsure of the total cost for the two hospital stays and treatments. Any help is greatly appreciated.
