My name is Cherie. My beautiful baby girl, Cheniya Rogers, passed away at the age of 20 in a tragic car accident on August 23rd, 2025, along with her boyfriend. They loved each other so much. Her son, Kordae, was her world. Cheniya had him at the age of 17 and had graduated before he was born. From the moment she had him, she provided all his needs and was the best mother. I am so proud of her, and we miss them dearly.

Although her time with us was far too short, she made a long-lasting impact and will always be in our hearts and minds. I’m requesting help to place her in a memorial garden and to help take care of her son, Kordae, who turned 3 on August 27th. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Every day I wake up, I still can’t believe they’re not home and not coming back. This tragedy has changed our lives forever. With the support of God, family, friends, and those we don’t know, I’m praying we will be able to place her in a peaceful garden by the river and give Kordae the life that Cheniya would have given him.
