Help Candy Recover From a Chocolate Emergency

Hi everyone,

My name is Michelle , and I’m a full-time college student and a single mom to the sweetest 3-year dog named Candy. Unfortunately, Candy got ahold of a ENTIRE chocolate cake when I stepped away for just a moment. As many of you know, chocolate is extremely toxic to dogs, and Candy had to be rushed to the emergency vet for immediate treatment. She has thrown up profusely and nonstop diarrhea.

They acted quick and started administering medications and fluids to save her life. I’m beyond grateful she’s stable now, but the emergency visit came with an unexpected and overwhelming vet bill. As a student balancing school, work, and life, I just don’t have the means to cover it all on my own.

Everyone who knows Candy knows how loving, playful, and gentle she is. She's my emotional support, my entire source of happiness, and truly a part of the family. I’m doing everything I can to make sure she gets the care she needs, and I’m humbly asking for help. She is the love of my life.
