<div>As some are aware, Anita Ellis suffered a serious fall and hit her head on concrete. She was rushed to the hospital and is now in the ICU. Her scans showed small brain bleeds and fractures on the right side of her face. The good news is that none of the injuries are causing dangerous pressure, and she’s being monitored closely around the clock.

<div>Anita hasn’t fully woken up yet, but she responds to stimulation, moving on her own, and trying to communicate — signs the doctors say are positive. Right now, the focus is giving her brain the rest it needs to heal.

<div>Her family is staying hopeful and strong, but they have a long road ahead. They live three hours from the hospital, which means constant travel, time away from work, and unexpected expenses as they stay by Anita’s side and prepare for the challenging recovery process.
