Help for Eric’s Family

My name is Tatum and I set up this page on behalf of my friend Jessica and her young family.

Her fiancé Eric first started having small GI issues in March and it started off small and seemingly insignificant. By April these issues became more frequent and by May it was two or three times a week. Then July comes and these episodes are a daily occurrence. Their first thought was it was caused by his diet so they switched to clean eating. It helped briefly, but eventually the issues came back with more severity in the last two months and he began to become incredibly fatigued barely making it through a days work and started looking gray in color. Feeling extreme exhaustion Jessica took him to the ER. After briefing  the staff of the issues he was immediately admitted where they realized he had internal bleeding and lost near half of his blood. They did several tests for auto immune disorders, bacterial infections, viruses, parasites, gastrointestinal exploration. Cat scans, endoscopy, colonoscopy. All of which came back negative. They did do surgery to fix another unrelated issue and while doing so they did exploratory surgery and took biopsies with no conclusions. The internal bleeding is undiagnosed and ongoing. 

Jessica is a full time “single” mom who works 6 days a week to support their family and this medical disaster has all been immensely taxing on her emotionally and financially. Luckily he does have insurance, but as of now they have accumulated about $10,000 in out of pocket expenses and is growing with more treatments to find the cause. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
