Hannah and Jodie go to Malawi

My name is Jodie Bartell, and I am hoping to travel to Malawi, a country located in Africa, in August 2014.

I am currently a homeschool mom and run an industrial kitchen, Crown City Kitchen Rental. I am married and have 3 beautiful children. 

I have attended and am a member of Flood Church for 5 years. A youth ministry mission trip that Flood Church has been planning since August 2013 is going to Malawi. In Malawi, Flood youth group will be doing many things to help better the community such as a roofing project where we'll be helping build new roofs for houses in Chilombo Village, a Pro Vector Flower Project and a Sports Evangelism with the Chilombo community.

I would love to go to Malawi because I have wanted, for many years now, to go on a mission trip to help others. I know that in doing this, not only will the lives of others be impacted thru God, but mine as well. Being with Flood, has helped on my journey to become closer with the Lord. I have learned more of who God has created me to authentically be. I would love to share the Love and Joy of God with others. This opportunity is going to allow my daughter, Hannah, and I to experience this together. What a blessing to be able to share this with one another.

Going to Malawi means so much to me. I feel the Lord wants me to be a part of this trip and with your support and prayers, I know that I can make this happen. With help of even just a few dollars I am one step closer to achieving my goals.
