As many of you know my dad had to have a very invasive surgery on his neck recently. He has been working his body as a contractor for 22 years to provide for our family and he's always willing to help anyone in need. About 6 years ago my dad had to have surgery on his lower back due to a ruptured disc. He was in so much pain and doctors said if he waited any longer he would have been paralyzed. He was able to recover from that fairly quickly with the help of lots of prayer. He continued working to provide, as best he could. Anyone who knows him knows he gives his all into everything he does!
He went to the emergency room numerous times for not only his neck but also for his arm, it turns out he also has a fractured elbow and can barley move it. He's lost mobility in both arms and now his neck. He's been sitting inside for a month now icing his neck and elbow, barley able to move. He couldn't stand for even a short time without the pressure on his neck almost bringing him to tears. He was turned away from the hospital many times basically because he wasn't dying! I know ridiculous! He also didn't have insurance because it's so expensive! So he was just stuck in pain. Finally one night I was over at their house and I noticed how small he had become, he lost 22 pounds in two months! It was so scary for us to see him that way. I looked at his face and he just looked so pale and in excruciating pain. I told him he needed to go to the hospital I've never seen him in that much pain. He decided to go in again because he couldn't even sleep. They took him back right away and saw that his blood pressure was way to high! They told him they were admitting him. Thankfuly that night they decided they would be doing surgery! His surgery went well and he is now recovering, he will be out of work for a minimum of three months of there is no complications and then he will need to have surgery on his elbow which means more recovery time. So I wanted to set this up for them because I know they won't have any income for the next few months and this could help them with their monthly bills and hospital bills. Anything helps, and if you are not able to donate at this time prayers are always appreciated! Thank you so much for all the support and prayers we love you!
I love you dad and I hope you feel better soon!
