Aho Family Needs

Donation protected
Ron and Karen Aho are in need of some help as they are both suffering from health issues.
Their Story:
Karen agreed to marry her best friend, Ron, 41 long years ago. They have two beautiful daughters, Jenny and Julie, and two amazing granddaughters, Lilly and Karmen. Ron has worked at the post office as a letter carrier for over 40 years. Ron received a liver transplant 15 years ago and continued to work full time after he recovered. About 5 years ago Karen was diagnosed with breast cancer. After her cancer treatment, she was in the clear. Sadly, her cancer has returned and is worse than before. She currently goes to chemo one day per week. In early May 2017, they found out Ron would need a new liver. Ron was on the transplant list for only 4 days before receiving the call. On May 18th he received his second liver. However, Ron has been unable to leave the ICU at the University of Washington Medical Center since the transplant due to a variety of reasons. He has acquired a fungus in his blood stream that has now gone to his heart making his recovery extremely difficult. On top of everything else, they discovered that Ron has a brain aneurysm. The Aho Family is in need of a lot support, emotionally and monetarily. Karen said, "We can never have too many prayers."
Their needs:
As you've deducted, the Aho's are going to have a lot of medical bills. As they are paying for cancer treatments for Karen and an ongoing ICU stay for Ron. Not only do they need help with the mound of medical bills but also the everyday living expenses. Karen is able to stay at the Fisher House free of charge while she is in Seattle with Ron but the bills at home in Olympia, WA still need paying.
Ron was working full time at the post office until his most recent transplant despite being retirement age. They are able to use his sick time so they currently have their normal income. As his sick time bank continues to deplete, Karen has to seriously consider retiring him from the post office. The only hiccup is the lapse in time between his final paycheck and his first retirement check, this can be up to 3 months. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated, especially your prayers.
