Andy Heafner's Fight with Cancer

Hello, my name is Caitlyn and i am writing this with my brothers Tom, Mike and Pat on behalf of my dad Andy. My dad was diagnosed with rectal/ colon cancer last year. He started his treatment with 24 weeks of chemo and had six weeks of radiation. His cancer numbers went way down and everything was starting to look positive. His doctor wanted him to have a break for two and a half months and when he returned to see his doctor, his cancer number had risen back up. He is now on a second round of chemo and trying to lower those numbers once more. While his scans are still looking good, He is now having issues with the cancer on his liver. This is causing him fluid build up in his mid- section and he has to have it drained every 10 days.  While dad still tries to have his positive outlook, he is feeling pressure from the medical bills adding up including all of his living expenses. The medical bill dept to date is roughly $30,000. He wants to be able to pay off his medical bills so the collection agencies stop calling him and writing him letters all of the time!   With the money raised, he will be able to pay off his medical bill dept and be able to live comfortably in retirement .  Anything and everything will help at this time!
