As a parent, nothing is more painful than being apart from your kids, especially when all you want is to give them safety, love, and a place to call home.

<div>The good news is that I’ve found an apartment that is safe, stable, and perfect for me and my children to reunite and begin rebuilding our lives. The difficult part is that the landlord is asking for three months' rent upfront, which I simply don’t have.
