Please Help Us Save Colonel

Colonel, my best friend and loyal companion for 10 years needs more help than I can continue to give him.  Over the last 6 months, Colonel has been losing mobility and strength in his hindlegs.  I've been able to get him to vet specialists for MRI's, bloodwork, x-rays, supplements, therapy, and to meet all his normal vet visits.  Costs thus far have totalled, well over, $4500. 

Despite all my efforts and the very best treatments, the only answer for Colonel, to heal and regain the ability to walk again, is spinal surgery.  The surgery costs are about $3500 and I'm able to  cover the lion's share, however, I need help with the final $1500.

When it comes to Colonel, I will beg, borrow, and steal to ensure that he has the best quality of life.  My heart breaks every time I watch him struggle to climb up and down the stairs, when his legs give out from under him while he's walking across the room, or when he simply cannot get up to walk at all.  He has been by my side through life's most challenging moments and, right now, he needs me more than I can help.

Please find it in your heart to help my buddy, Colonel, and give him back his mobility. My sweet, gentle, loving puppy of 10 years and I thank you for anything you can contribute.
