Hello Everyone
my name is Andrea Segovia and I am creating this account on the behalf of my Father, Gilbert Segovia. On October 1, 2017, Gilbert Segovia was tragically
struck in the mass shooting at the Route 91 harvest festival in Las Vegas. While getting his family to cover, his heart carried him to help an older couple who was wounded on the ground. After trying to help them , he suffered a gunshot wound through his left leg. Even though he was in pain, his bravery never stopped. He guided his family and other civilians to cover by breaking into a building near by and hiding them in it until the police officers and medics arrived. He is currently back into the hospital and seeking further medical attention.
We are asking everyone to please help him and our family through this difficult and devastating time with any means possible.
All funds donated to this account will go directly to his medical expenses, counseling and any financial difficulties along the way.
