Hello everyone.
My mother, Agnes (Aggie) Hartendorp, passed away on October 15, 2020 at the age of 68. She had been ill for quite sometime with diabetes and end stage liver disease. She fought bravely for a long time but finally her body could no longer continue and she left us.
She was an incredibly strong woman, fiercely independent and headstrong, but also so warm and loving a soul you'd ever likely meet. Her love and support provided the foundation of my life and I will be forever in her debt. Her loss is felt so deeply in our family and has left a hole that will never be filled. We will all miss her, but her memory will never leave our hearts.
As is the case with so many people, the pandemic has severely impacted our lives. Our family has found that the already devastating financial toll the pandemic has taken on us is even further complicated by the substantial fees needed to provide a basic funereal service for my mom. Our family humbly asks for your financial support.
The basic cost for a direct cremation with no viewing, gathering or ceremony is $1605.00.
Other associated costs would be a certified death certificate at $5 and a decorative urn to store her remains at $425.00.
We also ask for an additional $165 for any other miscellaneous costs that may arise for a total fundraising goal of $2200.00.
