Age UK, Gateshead Mini Bus Appeal.

So today individual's from our community decided that they would take a mini bus that belonged to Age UK causing alsorts of problems for them in the run up to Christmas.
Age UK Gateshead has been during this pandemic a life line to so many people within our community. They have shopped, collected medication, delivered food parcels, made friendly phone calls, delivered Sunday lunches every day of every week during these uncertain times. They have been the hub to so many people.
They currently have over 280 Christmas parcels to deliver to some people who may have very little or nothing this Christmas. So, without the minibus it is going to have an impact on deliveries.
Many charities have suffered massively this year, That is why I am asking the good people of Felling and Gateshead to donate whatever you can to try and help Age UK get these Christmas parcels delivered in time for Christmas.
I have set a target of 500 pounds hopefully we can achieve this and maybes a bit more for a charity that has worked relentlessly during this pandemic for OUR COMMUNITY.
Whilst I appreciate 500 will not buy a new mini bus, I'm hoping what WE raise as a community will help with the additional costs Age UK will incur.
