Agape House Funding
Hey, Friends and Family!
God's put a dream in our hearts!
We, Jacob and Delayna, have a love for people, especially children. We have recently applied to begin the process of becoming a foster family, working towards an even bigger dream:
AGAPE HOUSE.
Agape love is the kind of love that we can choose, it aims for charity, sacrifices for others without expecting a return, and is love at its ultimate: Jesus' love! We want Jesus to shine through us in a foster home we call "Agape House." We have a strong desire to help change the culture and atmosphere of San Antonio in an area that needs the most help: Foster Care.
Our big dream is to build a home for children in Bexar County, where the fostering need is very great (please click here to learn more). We are hoping to partner with God and the great state of Texas to create a safe home with the following:
- multiple living areas for building relationships
- a yard with animals for learning responsibility
- and a worship center for growing love for Jesus
We hope to eventually include more than one host family within the house, working together to train children in the way they should go (Proverbs 22:6). This is a very long-term dream, but like all great journeys, it starts with one step.
