Help Victims of 6/16 Cherry Grove Fire

There was a complete house fire in Cherry Grove, Fire Island, on Monday 6/16 morning at 2am. The house where the fire originated, Fernando's Hideaway (three houses east of Cherry's on the Bay), was completely destroyed.  The owner, Fidel, received injuries jumping from second story window while unsuccessfully trying to save his standard poodle, Prince.
Clyde Oakley's house next door sustained considerable damage to the top floor and windows were smashed on neighboring Green House.
While the hope is that insurance will reimburse these victims for their losses, I am starting this online appeal for help for their incidentals and expenses that are bound to not be covered.
We in Cherry Grove are so thankful that our volunteer Cherry Grove Fire Department responded so valiantly to contain this fire to the originating house.
Proceeds from whatever is raised will be split 50% to Fidel, owner of Fernando's Hideaway, 30% to Clyde Oakley for him and for his renters (Joanne Tavis emailed me: Clare and Maria were Clyde's upstairs renters they lost everything Nicki had water damage but should be able to save her things), 10% to Mike Turci and Ken Woodhouse, owners of the Green House, and 10% to the Cherry Grove Fire Department.
