Ron Cornell Fundraiser

Hello Again,
I first want to thank each and everyone of  you for your prayers, love and support for Ronnie.  He is a fighter and believe me he fighting hard.  This has been incredibly hard year for him and right now he's in a fight for his life.  We are praying that the doctors will figure out what is going on very soon, they are wonderful and call Ronnie their precious patient.
A little information to on to those who do not know what happened... Ronnie was not feeling well on Sunday, but this is not anything new, he rarely feels good. Him and Val stayed home and watched football all day. He made a comment that he hopes he is not getting the flu. Monday he was sick all day, vomiting and just feeling terrible. He has gastroparasis , so he figured it was acting up, same symptoms.  On Tuesday  he woke up feeling a little  better. Val went to work but said she was coming home early, she was exhausted. Now, she very rarely comes home from work , she's saving time for transplant.  A blessing in disguise everyone, it gives us chills to think about it. Ronnie would not be here if Val was not home, she saved his life! He suffered what we thought was a seizure and was unconscious and hardly breathing.  He was taken to Hanover hospital in PA. They were not equipped for him so we were transferred to Shock Trauma. Since we have been here, Ronnie has been fighting hard and not giving up.  He's still on a ventilator  and trying to wake up. The MRI is not normal, they are still figuring it out. They are saying he has encephalitis from a possible viral infection. Everything is still up in the air. We are waiting for a lot of tests.  His immune system is suppressed due to his diabetes and renal failure, so he has to fight harder.  All we can do is pray right now and know that he is in good hands of God and these amazing physicians.  Honestly we all know in our hearts he knows we are here, especially when he hears his loves voice, He seems comforted when Val talks to him. She truly is his Rock. He told me a couple weeks ago, if it was not for Val, I wouldn't be here.  Their love is true and I see it even more when times get rough.

I know we did well with this fundraiser last time. The burden that was taken off of their shoulders was tremendous.  We need your help again.  Val is  time from  work and  the bills are continuing to build.  The tolls and parking everyday are about 20$. It's really unreal how it adds up. It's going to be a very long road and any help is GREATLY appreciated.  We understand times are tough and if you are unable to donate at this time your prayers are honestly just as important.  Please share this and continue praying for my brother, my forever friend, my sister in law , and our entire family . Our faith is keeping us going, God is great. Love you all and thank you.
