<div>Hi! We are reaching out to <strong>Star's community</strong>, trying to get her the help that she needs for medical treatment. Star became loved by everyone who followed her story on Animal Friends of the Valley when she was abandoned by her owner. We were lucky enough to adopt her and get her adapted into the right home, only to discover that she has some medical issues that need to be tended to.

<div>We have had multiple vet visits, and it has been determined that she likely has ectopic ureter, a condition causing her to involuntarily leak urine at all times and requires surgery by a specialist. We have been referred to California Veterinary Specialists to the internal medicine department. <strong>The cost of her surgery is going to likely reach an extreme amount that would be unreachable for us to accomplish without the help of our community.</strong> The vet will not take donations directly and has encouraged us to start a GoFundMe on behalf of Star to get her the medical treatment that she needs to get her on track for a healthy, successful future!
