Please Help with Medical Expenses!!

Thank you for taking the time to read this, our family appreciates it more than you can imagine.  No one ever enjoys asking for help but this is a situation that requires us to do so.

My aunt was recently diagnosed with a malignant neoplasm of the vulva.  The oncologist has tried to get approval for a PET scan in order to determine if the cancer has spread, and if so, how far.  

That request was denied by her employer provided insurance.  The doctor appealed the denial and the appeal has also now been denied as well.

We are not waiting for them to decide to do the right thing, time is so important with a cancer diagnosis. 

This fundraiser is being started to try and raise money to pay for a PET scan out of pocket and to also help with other associated medical expenses as well.  Darlene does work full time and will certainly be impacted financially by the costs of this as well as time that she is sure to miss from work while recovering from any surgery or surgeries.

Any help that you can provide would be so greatly appreciated.  Darlene has 2 children, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren that she loves to spend time with and spoil rotten!
