Please Help Samantha Beat Breast Cancer

Samantha's story:

On Oct. 7, 2020 our world was turned upside down when our 30 yr. old daughter Samantha was diagnosed with triple negative invasive breast cancer, stage III.  Samantha's doctors believe her cancer is treatable and curable.  The picture above was taken during her first chemo treatment.  She's using a Cold Capping method before, during and after chemo to help prevent losing her hair. 

Samantha was working as a hospital RN at the time of her diagnosis.  Because of COVID concerns and her compromised immune system from treatments, her doctors have recommended she not continue working in patient care until her cancer treatments have concluded.  Her passion is nursing and patient care.

The Medical Costs:

Samantha has health insurance through her employer.  However, medical bills not fully covered by her insurance, in addition to living expenses, are already starting to add up as she has not been able to work since early October.  She'll be in chemo, radiation and other treatments through mid 2021.


Samantha currently owes $6,651.91 from October doctor visits, MRI's, tests and chemo treatments not fully covered by her insurance, with another $5,310 in medical bills pending.  This does not include any November medical expenses, medical bills she has already paid or living expense bills.   She has already exhausted any savings she had.  She needs financial help immediately to pay her outstanding medical bills.  

Our estimation of future medical expenses is $3,000 - $5,000 per month.  When we find out for sure we'll post it here as an update.
