AFS Exchange to Paraguay

My family throughout the years has hosted many exchange students from many different countries, but I am the first to have an opportunity to go on a once in a lifetime year long exchange. I could go to Paraguay for my last year of high school.  I would leave at the end of July 2019 and live with a family in Paraguay until the June of 2020. As overwheling as the idea of leaving my home and community sounds for a whole year, all of our exchange students have said it is life changing experience.  I am going to be working as much as I can between now and then, but I’m not sure I can earn the full amount to make this dream come true.
