Over the past few weeks, we have witnessed and participated in a social movement for Black lives stronger and more united than any I have seen before.

We created the “Together We Rise” video in order to continue the forward momentum of the movement.

Shot in the projects of St. James Town, a neighborhood close to my
heart that I grew up in and one of the most diverse places in Toronto, the
video reflects unity and togetherness. It witnesses a diverse group of individuals come together for the greater good of tomorrow, as I believe the
best way forward is by working together with people of all colours/all types of people.

We hope to raise awareness for the Black Lives Matter movement and
to help support the Afri-Can FoodBasket’s newest initiative, “Black Food Toronto,” which supports members of the Black community with access to fresh produce at no cost during the COVID-19 pandemic. Growing up in Toronto, I often relied on similar organizations
and initiatives, and I know how important they are to Black families all over
the city.

We are excepting donations until the 19th of July!! Our Goal is $2000! Lets get there and keep RISING!!!

Together, anything is possible.

LOVE.
