Africa Dance Aid Trip 2019

Tax deductible
Hey everyone - thanks for checking out our page. We are a group of friends that are involved in the dance community in one way or another and we have joined together with the charity dance aid to go on a once in a lifetime trip to visit a small African town (Mpumalanga) for 10 days. We will be helping the community build things, wash things, learn things and mainly giving them a whole lotta LOVE. It's going to be a very eye-opening experience and we are very proud to be doing it with this incredible charity. This charity is unlike the main stream charities - they are all volunteers that work from home, constantly keeping the running costs of the charity low - making sure that all of the money the charity makes goes exactly where it is needed.

£5 feeds a child for a week
£10 buys a pair of school shoes for a child going barefoot
£15 buys a school uniform for a child staying home because his clothes don’t fit
£20 feeds a child for a month
£25 buys a new mat, bedding and pyjamas to sleep in
£30 buys a pair of football boots for an after-school club soccer player to play with pride
£50 buys reference books to help them with their homework
£100 buys a full kit for one soccer team so they can play in the local tournament
£300 builds a secure fence around danceaid’s new pre-school to keep the little ones safe from the road
£500 buys a PA system for an end of year party for the children who have passed their school year
£3000 digs a borehole to provide fresh running water to a danceaid centre servicing hundreds of children every single day

Before we fly out in October, we are going to be putting on numerous fundraising events to raise some money for these amazing projects we will do with the families out there. Each of us are either paying ourselves or fundraising separately for the personal travel costs etc. This page is donations for the charity as well as using a percentage of it to help the funds of a videographer coming out to document the trip so that you all can see exactly where your money went.
