Africa Amini Alama

As most of you know, I fell in love with Tanzania and its beautiful people back in December. They completely stole my heart and changed my life, and I want to thank them by giving back to them on my birthday.
I am looking to support Africa Amini Alama, which I have a personal connection to. They run educational, medical and social projects situated in very rural, poor areas where many families are in distress.
They currently need funds to build a secondary school for Maasai kids living below the poverty line. It will give the children the opportunity to eventually give back to the supporting community by contributing positively and constructively towards a changing society. And if I manage to donate at least EUR 500 (≈USD 620) , my name will be engraved in one of the school building's bricks!
Any remaining funds will go directly to Martin, the young boy who is pictured here, and his family. He has spina bifida and is paraplegic, and has been in treatment at Amini Alama's Medical Center for the past 6 months. His father died suddenly when he was 11 years old and his mother is struggling to provide for Martin and his siblings. She would like to start a chicken project to be able to support herself, be more independent and have an income.
I will return to Tanzania in July to visit and meet with these kids and the founder of Amini Alama. This is personal to me and very dear to my heart - I am looking to make this an ongoing relationship. If you could consider making a donation for my birthday on my behalf and help me reach my goal , that would be greatly appreciated and make me the happiest person!! :)
