Billy and Kelsie's dream is to have a family. The path thus far has been long, educational, stressful, emotional, but unfortunately unsuccessful. The journey began in late 2013, started privately with hope in their hearts and faith in God that they would be blessed with a child. Five years later after numerous tests, Dr's appointments, eight IUI (intra-uterine insemination) procedures and numerous remedies and everything that was suggested and what they could find by researching themselves, and of course endless prayers and never wavering in their faith that God would bless them, they have yet to become pregnant. As you can imagine these procedures, tests, appointments and medications are very expensive and they have to this point obsorbed all the costs personally.
After consulting with Doctor's, family and asking God for guidance, they have decided that the next step is an assisted reproductive technology commonly referred to as "IVF", the process of extracting eggs, retrieving a sperm sample and then manually combining an egg and sperm in a labratory dish. The embryo is then transferred to the uterus which will hopefully result in pregnancy. This procedure is very expensive and is not covered by medical insurance. Billy and Kelsie have saved for this procedure but cannot achieve the results without assistance from family, friends, and those who wish to help them become parents of their miracle baby.
Their Doctor recommends they begin the IVF procedure in mid August. Unfortunately the costs need to be prepaid. Billy and Kelsie have prepared an itemized list of all charges they will be responsible for and is available by request. The total cost exceeds $20,000. This is a lot of money and we appreciate any amount you feel would be appropriate.
All monies received above the goal amount will be donated to another couple who are experiencing the same issues that Billy and Kelsie are going through. They have also agreed to donate their embryo's that are not used.
