AFIL Sport Court for Adults with Disabilities

Do you love sports and believe in their power to make a positive impact in the lives of young adults? Do you also want to help make a difference?
We're raising money for our nonprofit, Association for Independent Living (AFIL), and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us and our residents!
The Mission of the Association for Independent Living is to strengthen the independence of young adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities through life skills education, vocational guidance, community integration, and spiritual growth in a supportive living environment.
Two key components to the residents' general well being are exercise and physical activity, along with appropriate social interaction. Being able to replace and update our current basket ball court into a multi sport court would enable the residents to gain benefits for both components. Our residents love to participate in sports and we would be thrilled to give them a brand new court to play and build their skills!
By donating to our cause today, you're helping bring a little more health and fun into the every day lives here at AFIL!
** In the event that we're not able to raise full funding for this project, donors will be offered a copy of our current Wish List and Needs, and will be able to choose to which project they want to donate , or if they want to donate to the general AFIL Way Program.
