<div><strong>Help Build Tomorrow (HBT)</strong> is launching a <strong>crucial winter campaign</strong> to support the most <strong>vulnerable populations</strong> in <strong>Afghanistan</strong>, where harsh winter conditions threaten the lives of countless families with many <strong>children</strong>. With over<strong> 97%</strong> of the population living below the <strong>poverty line</strong>, this winter presents an even greater challenge, as many lack <strong>basic necessities</strong> to stay warm and safe. Our dedicated team on the ground conducts thorough assessments to identify the most vulnerable families, assign them a <strong>Kindness Cards</strong> so donors can track their donations, ensuring that assistance reaches those who need it most.

<div>Unfortunately, our assessments reveal a <strong>heartbreaking reality</strong>: the majority of families in these vulnerable communities earn less than <strong>100 Afghanis</strong> a day, which is roughly equivalent to just <strong>$1.50</strong>. This meager income is not nearly enough to cover even the most basic necessities. <strong>Imagine a parent</strong> trying to provide for their children on such a<strong> limited budget</strong>—struggling to afford<strong> food, clothing,</strong> and <strong>shelter </strong>while facing the bitter cold of winter.

<div>For many, this means making <strong>impossible choices</strong>: should they buy a meal or save what little they have for fuel to keep their home warm? These families are not just surviving; they are fighting for their very existence, and every day is a battle against <strong>hunger </strong>and <strong>despair</strong>.

<div><strong>The Urgent Need</strong>

<div>This winter, we aim to provide <strong>500 jackets</strong> for children in various cold provinces across Afghanistan. These jackets will not only keep them warm but also instill a sense of hope and care during these challenging times. In addition to clothing, we plan to distribute <strong>coal, firewood</strong>, and <strong>blankets </strong>to families in need. These essential resources will help families heat their homes and survive the bitter cold.
