Afghan Winter Relief

As the year comes to an end, another harsh winter is on its way in Afghanistan.
It is estimated that 1.2 million Afghans have become refugees in their own country and are currently living in internally displaced persons camps (IDP). That staggering figure includes hundreds of thousands of children. They live in unimaginable conditions, on the edge of survival with very little access to food, education or healthcare. Winter temperatures in Afghanistan drop to -25*C, endangering the lives of these children and their families.
Aschiana, an NGO we have been supporting for many years, that has helped thousand of working street children since 1995, has set up a winter relief program. Their aim is to provide food and blankets to the affected families in order to survive the very harsh winter conditions.
Please help us raise funds for this urgent cause. Every €50 you give will help purchase one blanket and enough rice and cooking oil to feed a family for the winter. We will wire all proceeds directly to Afghanistan and cover any fees ourselves so 100% of your donations will be used to provide assistance to the affected families who are in dire need of help.
