We are Affordable Food Stoke
We have spent the last 2 and a half years fighting to save perfectly good food from being wasted, thrown away & destroyed alongside feeding families for less here in Stoke-on-Trent.
We love what we do and it's shows because in the last 12 months we have won an 'our heroes award' for the work we do in the community and been voted in the 'top 100 most inspirational and motivational people' in Staffordshire!
COVID-19 has shown us that there is so much more that can be done to help our community but to do this we need a van.
Upto this point we have been collecting the food (that we primarily give away for FREE) by using our family car and this is no longer practical for us as the quantities are so much more than our car can handle (or is fair on our children!)
This is why we are asking for your help.
We aren't usually very good at asking for help but on this occasion we will make an exception because it won't just benefit us but all of you too!
So please, help us reach our target, help us fight and reduce food waste & help us feed all families and all communities for less!
With a van we can collect more food and help that food reach further!
