Affirming A Future ...

A classmate of our daughter's lost her mother unexpectedly the week of Thanksgiving.  She is without long-term means and is temporarily living with a friend as she and her mother were in an apartment.

This senior in high school has a 4.0 at a nationally ranked college prep high school and will likely receive scholarships to colleges. This remarkable kid has never received a "B" and is a dedicated kid.  While she will likely have college aid, she is in need of help in the meantime as she finds herself navigating her future without a mother or parent to help.

We are enlisting any help that we can for her. When asked what her needs are, naturally she doesn't really know right now, nor is she willing to say what she'd like for Christmas. 

I don't have to tell you how much she must hurt, despite how much she is holding it together.  If you would be willing to contribute, the funds would be available to her for means and education.  

This young lady needs help and if she were yours you'd hope others would love on her, big. Thank you all!
