Help Zac Evenson and his family!

Zac is a 16 year old from a small town in Montana. He plays football, he wake boards and dirt bikes.  The day after Christmas he was tearing the 22 handgun that he had received for Christmas down and putting it back together. He didn’t realize there was a bullet in the chamber. When he was putting the slide back on it slipped and the gun discharged. His hand was injured between his ring finger and pinky. The bullet went through his left leg above the knee. The bullet severed the artery on the side of the left knee and the bullet lodged lower into the leg. He was in surgery about six hours and had to have a vein taken out of his right leg and repair the artery that he blew out. It went in through the back of his knee with a 6 to 8 inch incision to fix that artery that they are hoping will hold. They made an incision down both sides of the left calf that they have to leave open so that the swelling doesn’t restrict the blood flow to the leg. There is a possibly that he could need a few more surgeries. And at least 8 to 12 months recovery. There is possible nerve damage. It will take at least a few days before we know much more. He will spend at least 7 to 10 days in the hospital. He is in the ICU now. We can use all the prayers that we can get. The family does not have health insurance but are trying to get it and the medical bills are not cheap.  His father is currently unemployed and his mother is taking time off to take care of Zac and their one year old daughter. The family could really use the help for paying any expenses. Any donation is so greatly appreciated.
