Hello, my name is James Durham.
My Mother In Law, Mrs. Galyna, is in need of multiple surgeries on her jaw due to a rare condition causing degeneration of the bone and teeth at the age of 53. Recently, an emergency procedure was done and due to the bone desenegrating, all of Galyna's teeth were removed. For the past 4 plus months she has been in pain and healing while specialists search for a solution. She is unable to eat, in pain, scared, emotionally trying to deal with the loss of all her teeth, and now the financial burden and high cost for the future surgeries may delay her getting treatment.
With no insurance or assistance to get treatment, her first surgery will now be, during the second week of November on the 21st and the initial phase trying to reconstruct her lower jaw will cost $5,500.00.
After healing for a few months, assessing the treatment, and if successful, the next few procedures will begin and cost an additional $5,000.00
Sadly, Galyna doesn't have insurance to help with the costs and our family is doing all we can to support her emotionally as well as financially through this difficult time.
Galyna is a WONDERFUL woman with an incredible spirit and giving nature. She cannot do enough for anyone she meets. Her smile before lit up the room!
