After months of being told by doctors the tumor on her thigh was benign, Elizabeth was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer called Myxoid Sarcoma.
By that time, the mass had grown to the size of a volleyball and spread to her lungs. Her cancer is Stage 4. Doctors have started her on an aggressive treatment plan that will include chemotherapy for the next 13 weeks, followed by radiation.
Elizabeth is a beautiful, strong, happy, otherwise-healthy 27 year old and her diagnosis has come as a shock to her and those that love her.
At this time, Elizabeth has NO health insurance and is unable to continue working due to her increasingly limited mobility.
