Healing and Prayers for Shepherd

Dear Faithful Family and Friends,

We originally started a You Caring page on behalf of Ryan and Victoria’s family to raise money to help cover the medical, equipment, food, rehabilitation and any other unexpected costs for Shepherd’s treatment and recovery. As You Caring was acquired by Go Fund Me, we have moved his page to here so that we can continue to keep everyone updated on Shepherd’s progress and the amazing things that God has done and continues to do for our family.    

For those of you not as familiar with Shepherd’s story, this chapter began on April 28th, 2016 when he suffered his first of many strokes and it seemed as though we were left with more questions than answers as to what was causing the inflammation and infarcts within his brain.  God answered our prayers for a cause to all of Shepherd’s suffering nearly two weeks later when doctors uncovered from his brain biopsy that he had tuberculosis meningitis.  In the two plus years since that time we have experienced both peaks and valleys, but God’s faithfulness, grace and mercy has been constant.

The love and support our family has received up until this point and continue to receive has been tremendous and I don’t know that we will ever be able to fully express just how thankful and blessed we feel to have each of you as a part of this journey with us.  Please continue to pray for Shepherd, Ryan, Victoria and the rest of the family as the road ahead is still long and unknown. And thank you in advance for those of you that are able to give to help cover the ongoing costs of Shepherd's care.
