Aesculapians-WSUSOM is raising funds for Downtown Boxing Gym

Every year the Aesculapians Honor Society at Wayne State School of Medicine, volunteer and raise funds for a local organization. This year our community partner is Downtown Boxing Gym . They are an organization that provides amazing resources for youth in Detroit and the surrounding areas.

More information about Downtown Boxing Gym Youth Program: Since 2007, DBG has been providing our free academic and athletic program to support students ages 8-18, with continuing mentorship and support through age 25. Students stay with DBG year after year. They have a 100% high school graduation rate since they opened their doors. They have shown that long-term, personalized and holistic support makes a life-changing impact.
