AEPi UGA -Substance Abuse Research

Donation protected
AEPi links up with the Humane Society of Athens, Nedza’s Waffles food truck, and basketball connoisseurs to throw down the philanthropy event of the year. Our philanthropy event this year is through the Blue Dove foundation.

The event is in memory of Brian Waronker, a member of the Omicron brotherhood who passed away from a drug overdose last December at the age of 24. The chapter is looking forward to putting on this event as a way to honor his memory by involving brothers, alumni, parents, and the Jewish Atlanta and Athens
communities to recognize and contribute to a severe problem that hits us all so close to home.

The Blue Dove foundation is a local organization that helps raise money for Mental Health and Substance Abuse research.

Their mission includes three parts.:

1. Education, awareness and outreach.
2. Benevolent assistance for treatment for those who can not afford.
3. Prototype programs in the community to address issues related to mental health and
substance abuse.

All Proceeds will be donated to the cause.
