Aengus treatment of IMHA

RIP Aengus:

My dog Aengus was a strong healthy happy go lucky loving pup who became very ill in July. We believe he had severe reactions to Nexgard flea and tick medication. He was then misdiagnosed and treated with antibiotics for a skin infection.   Shortly thereafter Aengus was diagnosed with Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia. Basically his body attacked its own blood cells and red blood cells were not regenerating. We ended up taking him to Angel Animal Hospital in Boston, MA .  He had several transfusion and other medical tests.   We were Hopefull with  treatment he would go into remission. . Aengus became  skinny frail dog. He turned  4 December 6, 2017.  He passed away 3 days later on December 9th, 2018.   We have fought for him. He was a fighter. We feel like we poisoned our own dog with flea and tick medication prescribed by our vet. Our vet refuses to discuss it. I am going to fight to have this product removed from the market. I have a new friend in the UK. She lost her dog to Nexgard. Iam fighting for the memory of her dog GIzmo (RIP) and for others. She is trying to have the sale of Nexgard halted in the UK. Please go onto my FB pages Karelliarts petcare.com and Pet Care in NH Network for info on Nexgard. Please don’t give this to your dog. We need to raise funds to pay for already incurred expenses  for Aengus Despire steroids, auto immune suppressant drugs, 4 transfusions, we lost Aengus.  Our vet actually charged us for his last blood count the morning we put him to sleep, as he would not have made the day.  . We cannot afford this on our own. I have my own medical bills to cover on very limited income. It’s not fair what has happened to this beautiful pup who was very healthy and strong couple months ago. He became is a frail dog fighting to live. He iwas not a quitter and neither  were  we. We do not like to ask for help but this we cannot do alone financially.  We will continue to. pay it forward by helping others afflicted with this. I have already stopped dozens of people from giving their dogs Nexgard. I may have saved their lives. I will keep up the fight in
Aengus name and for other dogs and owners. I would like to set up a non profit group to help people help their pups who suffer from adverse reactions to this killer drug. I will continue to educate people on this product.  We greatly  appreciate any donations on my dog’s behalf. Aengus will be the poster dog to help others.
