Don Dalton Stadium Project

We are excited to announce that on August 22nd, 2014 the Burlington High School Stadium will be renamed the Don Dalton Stadium.  As many of you are aware, Don was a highly celebrated football coach(at the local, state and national levels) and athletic director at Burlington High School.  Don was also recognized for his outstanding contributions to our community as a volunteer EMT and for his leadership in starting a drug and alcohol awareness program for teens (now called Partners2).  As part of this renaming ceremony, we are raising funds for a new entrance sign (see design photo above) to the stadium as well as a plaque that will acknowledge some of Don's many accomplishments.  In order to purchase the sign and honor Coach Dalton, we need to raise at least $15,000.  Donations of any amount will be appreciated, and monies raised in excess of our $15,000 goal will donated by the committee to clubs, teams, or organizations that support Burlington Athletics.  We need to raise this money by August 1st, in order to have the sign purchased and in place for the dedication on August 22nd.  You will receive a confirmation email after your donation is made that will give you a receipt for tax purposes.  Thank you all for your support!
