Who says girls don't like science? I love Science expecially chemistry. I am an honor roll student at Argo Community High School and I was recently accepted into the Smith College Summer Science and Engineering Program http://www.smith.edu/summer/programs_ssep.php
The cost of the program is $5,500 and I have been awarded a $2,000 scholarship.
I need an additional $4,000 to cover the cost of my travel from the Chicago area and to cover the tuition balance.
My story: My mother is a wonderful single mom. I am the oldest of 4, I have 3 rambunctious little brothers.
I would love to get away from them for the summer to study science at the Prestigious Smith College, an all girls college in MA. This would be a fantastic experience for me, I will live on a college campus for a month, explore science careers and make new friends.
